TJ Rodgers

Thurman John Rodgers has served as a member of our board of directors since January 2017. He brings 34 years of public company CEO experience to our board. Mr. Rodgers founded Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in 1982 and served as the president, CEO and member of the board of directors until April 2016. From June 2004 through December 2012, Mr. Rodgers was a member of the board of trustees of Dartmouth College, his alma mater. From May 2002 to May 2011, Mr. Rodgers served as a member of the board of directors of SunPower Corporation. In addition to serving on Enphase Energy’s board of directors, he is presently a member of the board of directors of Enovix Corporation (lithium ion batteries), Solaria Corporation (advanced solar energy products) and WaterBit, Inc. (IoT-based watering). He holds bachelor’s degrees in physics and chemistry from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University. At Stanford, Mr. Rodgers invented, developed and patented VMOS technology.

Tony Etnyre

Anthony P. Etnyre has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of FTC Solar since May 2019. Tony has been with the company since inception in January 2017 and served as Vice President of Operations and Business Development prior to assuming his current role. From October 2013 to December 2016, Tony held multiple positions at SunEdison, including Vice President of the Solar Module Business Unit and Vice President of Design Engineering. From August 1997 to September 2013, Tony held multiple engineering and operations leadership roles at Motorola/Freescale, including Director of Business Operations for Freescale’s global semiconductor factories and leading the Oak Hill, Texas, wafer manufacturing factory. Tony, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, began his career in the US Army as an Infantry Officer serving in multiple leadership positions in the XVIII Airborne Corps. Tony was selected to serve on our board of directors based on his role as President and Chief Executive Officer and his extensive management experience in the solar energy industry.

Patrick Cook

Patrick M. Cook has served as the Chief Financial Officer at FTC Solar since July 2019. Immediately prior to this, Patrick worked in the corporate finance division of Dot Foods. From 2011 to 2017, he held multiple positions at SunEdison, including Vice President of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, and Treasurer of the Solar Energy Business Division. From 2006 to 2011, Patrick was in several leadership roles within Bank of America’s Structured Finance division, including Vice President of Structured Finance. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and quantitative methods from Bradley University.

Ali Mortazavi

Ali Mortazavi is an experienced leader in business transformation, R&D and sales management, having spent the last 19 years at Maxim Integrated. At Maxim Ali was VP/General Manager of several business units in Consumer, Computing, Industrial, Communications, and Automotive and VP of Business Operations, managing global distribution, pricing, demand planning, and sales operation organizations. Mr. Mortazavi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of California at Davis.

Nagendra Cherukupalli

Nagendra is passionate about solving real-world problems that can make a meaningful difference. Trained as a computer science professional, Nagendra has worked in software, semiconductors, solar and energy platforms. He has served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Enernet, a microgrid company, and CTO at LinkBee, an IoT company, as well as VP & CTO at SunEdison, the world's largest renewable energy company. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D., degrees in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and attended the Executive Program at Stanford.

David Springer

David has over 20 years of experience in the solar and semiconductor industries including roles as SunEdison’s COO of Solar Materials and VP of Manufacturing Operations and multiple leadership positions at Freescale Semiconductor. David served as a Navy submarine officer after earning a BS in Engineering from United States Naval Academy.

Kirk Hayes

Kirk is a Capital Productivity Construction Expert with leadership experience from SunEdison, Tesla Energy, & McKinsey & Co. With experience across both general and solar construction, Kirk leverages best practices from the Lean Construction Institute, Project Production Institute, and Project Management Institute to make make FTC Solar a leader in solar project execution.
Jay Grover

Jay Grover

Jay is an experienced operations leader with recent experience in supply chain management as the Senior Director of Global Logistics at SunEdison. He has also held general operations leadership roles such as COO of FlipChip International and President of NelTec, a subsidiary of Park Electrochemical Corporation.

Kristian Nolde

Kristian is a leader in strategy and marketing with experience in accelerated growth transformations. He has worked with many leading power electronics and solar companies during his eight years as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Prior to working for McKinsey he spent multiple years in the financial services industry and he holds PhD in control systems from ETH Zurich.

Dale Herron

Dale has over 25 years of experience in the solar and semiconductor industries. He started his career with Motorola with leadership roles in Manufacturing Operations, Finance and Human Resources. He entered the renewable energy industry as the HR Leader supporting the Solar Materials organization at SunEdison. He later joined AMD as the HR leader supporting the Global Operations organization. He joins FTC Solar as our Chief Human Resources Officer with a focus on building strong, effective teams and driving initiatives to create a high-performing culture. Dale has a B.A. from Columbia College, Chicago and a M.A. in Human Resources from St. Edward’s University, Austin.

Cathy Behnen

Cathy has over 20 years of financial leadership experience translating business issues into improved processes and profitability. She has five years of experience in the solar industry as Head of Global Audit and VP of Business Operations at SunEdison. Previously she was a partner at RubinBrown LLP. Cathy has a BS in Accounting and earned her MBA. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Aaron Vernon

Aaron has over 25 years of operations experience in the Semiconductor and Solar Industries. Prior to FTC Solar, he held various leadership positions at Motorola / Freescale, SunEdison and Advanced Micro Devices in Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain and Business Operations with a focus on operational excellence and continuous Improvement. Aaron has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas.

Jacob Wolf

General Counsel
Jacob is an experienced corporate attorney, with particular expertise in the renewable energy sector. He has worked on many of the world’s largest and most sophisticated renewable energy transactions, spanning M&A, project finance, tax equity, joint ventures and other corporate matters. Prior to becoming our general counsel, Jacob practiced with the New York and DC offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University.
