The R&D Mechanical Engineer will work with the R&D team in all aspects of the tracker mechanical calcs, including design optimization. In this position, you will use your experience to lead design decisions from a structural/mechanical point of view, solve problems, develop, and execute design objectives, communicate cross functionally, and drive the team strategically so new editions of the tracker are delivered per commitments that meets the loading requirement.

FTC Solar is expanding its engineering strength to cater to the ever-growing market interests in FTC’s tracker products. As our market expands and our customer base increases, we strive to achieve customer expectations by engineering state-of-the-art Solar Tracker products. FTC needs enthusiastic Structural Engineers to work with Structural Engineering Team on Solar Tracker Products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The R&D Mechanical Engineer will work with the R&D team in all aspects of the tracker mechanical calcs, including design optimization. In this position, you will use your experience to lead design decisions from a structural/mechanical point of view, solve problems, develop, and execute design objectives, communicate cross functionally, and drive the team strategically so new editions of the tracker are delivered per commitments that meets the loading requirement.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing supply chain data, recommending improvements to boost performance and reduce cost. Analyze upstream & downstream supply planning stages to recommend solutions that improvise the full lifecycle and ensure correct requirements are being generated. In this role, you will have to work closely with all stakeholders to identify goals and develop best practices for data collection to determine what can be improved to achieve desired outcomes and engineering.

As the Sourcing Director, you will be responsible for the development of a Best-in-Class Global Supply network that supports FTC Solar’s business strategies and provides a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Working cross-functionally, the Sourcing Director owns the development and execution of sourcing strategies that produce tangible value through the implementation of processes and projects that yield a reduced total cost of material acquisition, revenue and gross margin improvement, supply base alignment, enhanced product quality, lead time improvements and overall reduction of risk.
